SR1 present Status 30/09/02

Electricity and Network:

- includes: main elect. connection, UPS installation and connection, Rack supply with normal and UPS power, electricity distribution in all SR1-rooms and areas, lights

- work plan and connections were costed and are agreed
- first new components will be ordered during next two weeks
- distribution cabinets are available
- installation work is schedule for different parts of SR1
- installation work will start end Oct beg. November

Rack cooling:

- is currently being installed
- manifolds to racks are installed
- pumps (2) are installed
- heat exchanger is installed
- electrical connection is installed

Racks:


- 55 racks are installed in final location
- heat exchangers (for water colled racks): pressure tests are finished
- heat exchangers will be installed in final location soon
